What are you worth per hour? Set a number right now!

“…a woman earns 72.5  cents for every dollar a man earns for the same work.”

I know this guy, he charges $2,000 per hour for his time for a one on one consult.   And, he gets it!    Why does he get it?   Because he offers his clients a service well worth it in their values.    With just a few minutes discussion, he can show a client how an hour with him will change their life forever.   And, their investment of a mere $2,000 will pay off for the rest of their lives!

Research shows that guys are better at charging what they are worth than girls.  And, the difference hasn’t changed as much as we thought, even though, women are perhaps more empowered than ever before in human history.   Example, in Canada a woman earns 72.5  cents for every dollar a man gets for the same work.

But it is not just a gender issue.   It is a self esteem issue which ends up as a self confidence issue.   If you ask a three year old if they are worth a million dollars they would probably say yes.    And, if you ask the child’s parents the same question, you would get another yes!    So, your self value is a reflection of your self esteem, and the self confidence you have to assert it to others.

The more you value yourself, the more others will value you, like the three year old I mentioned.   The more you can show your value to others the more they will pay you for your goods and services.
